Lufkin, Texas (KETK) — The pastor of an East Texas church was arrested Tuesday morning after he allegedly hurt his wife.
According to the Lufkin Police Department, at 7:30 a.m., Andrew "Andy" Pittman, of Lufkin, was involved in a dispute with his wife when he shoved her into a door. The victim's arm was injured during the incident.
Pittman is charged with assault causing bodily injury. His bail was set at $1,500.
The suspect is the senior pastor at First Baptist Church in Lufkin.
