LONGVIEW - Longview ISD is putting a stop to bullying in schools.
The district is implementing a new program called, "Bullying Is A Pain."
Longview is the first district in the state to have a bully prevention program.
Statistics show 38-percent of students feel comfortable in school.
And, 30-percent feel threatened by other students.
This program will be taught primarily in language arts classes.
Officials say, the program will start with fifth graders and eventually work its way up through other grade levels.
