Marshall, Texas (KETK) — One person was jailed Sunday afternoon when he allegedly shot his brother during a dispute.
On Sunday around 4:23 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1600 block Hynson Street on reports of a disturbance and gunfire. While headed to the location, Marshall police received word a gunshot victim was at Squeaky Clean Express in the 1400 block of United Flight Ninety.
When authorities made it the car wash, officers found Bobby Fred Williams, 59, with a single gunshot wound to the back. he was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The victim is expected to survive.
Williams told law enforcement he was shot by his brother, Charles Williams, 60, during an argument on Hynson Street. The suspect was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and booked into the Harrison County Jail.
