Douglass, Texas (KETK) — An East Texas man was killed in a one-vehicle rollover crash in Douglass Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Department of Public Safety, at 1:29 p.m., troopers were dispatched to the scene located on State Highway 21 West. When authorities arrived, they discovered a truck traveling westbound left the road while on a curve, hit a culvert and flipped.
The driver, identified as George Henry Millard, Jr, 82, of Nacogdoches, was not wearing a seatbelt and had been thrown from the vehicle. Jusice of the Peace Precinct 1 Judge Kerry Williamson pronounced him dead at the scene. His body was sent for autopsy.
Douglass is located about 14 milles west of Nacogdoches.
