Longview, Texas (KETK) — Longview officers arrested six people after they were allegedly caught with a large amount of meth and stolen vehicles
On Saturday at 5:10 a.m., a Longview officer on routine patrol found a stolen vehicle in the 1900 Bock of Willis Street. Officers talked with the owner of the home and recovered the stolen vehicle.
The owner then gave authorities permission to search the home and speak with people inside the house gather more information as to whom took the vehicle. During the search, police located over 200 grams of methamphetamine inside the home.
Officers also discovered scales, baggies, syringes, and other drug related items. Law enforcement located two more stolen vehicles parked at the residence. All six people present were taken into custody without incident. They were identified as Carl Oscar Gearhart, 30, of Gladewater, Lacie Danielle Dorgan, 30, of Ore City, Gerri Paige Davis, 25, of White Oak, Leland Smith, 32, of Longview, Brandie Kay McAlister, 32, of Ore City, and Stephen Dwayne Cannada, 41, of Longview.
All suspects were charged with felony 1 manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1, 200<400 grams. Gearhart was also arrested on three outstanding misdemeanor warrants and an outstanding VOP fugitive warrant out of Louisiana. McAlister was also arrested on a class C misdemeanor warrant.
