Greenville, Texas (KETK) — One person was injured in a Hunt County stabbing Monday morning.
According to the Greenville Police Department, officers were dispatched to an assault call on the 1200 block of I-30. Once there, officers found a man suffering from a stab wound to the chest.
The identity of the victim is being withheld at this time due to the seriousness of his injury. He was taken to a local hospital and then flown to a Dallas hospital.
The attacker has been identified, but their name has not been released. Additional information on the victim's condition is not known.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
