Trinity, Texas (KETK) — The acts of an allegedly unruly East Texas bar patron led to an arrest, but it is what he reportedly did once booked into jail that had officers talking.
Officers responded to the Side Lines Sports Bar on Robb Street in Trinity County after the manager reported a customer, who refused to leave.
Officer Ferguson responded and arrested Eric Clauson who was charged with misdemeanor public intoxication and had three warrants owing $615 in unpaid fines.
At one point Cluason told Officer Ferguson that he had been drinking and smoking weed all day. Although Clauson made this claim, no marijuana was found on him.
While in jail, Clauson was spitting and urinated on the holding cell bars and floor.
He was subsequently charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief for that act.
