TYLER - Almost 70 percent of Texas households have returned their 2010 census forms.
This matches the same rate of return from the 2000 census.
Now census workers are preparing the hit the pavement and go door-to-door to count the uncounted.
According to the Census Bureau, it only costs 42 cents per household to mail back the form, but the taxpayers' tab for going door-to-door?
Try almost $60 per home.
