KILGORE - A man serving life in prison for one of the most notorious mass murders in Texas is denying his role in the slayings.
Convicted murderer Romeo Pinkerton told the Associated Press that the real killer, quote, "is out there still walking around."
Pinkerton is serving five life terms for the murders of five people abducted during a robbery of a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant in Kilgore.
LUFKIN - A former Lufkin Davita Dialysis nurse pleaded not guilty Friday to charges she killed five dialysis patients and injured five others by injecting them with bleach last April.
Two weeks ago, 35 year-old Kimberly Saenz was on five capital murder charges and five counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
LUFKIN - a private agreement is made between the families of 21 year-old Darrell D'juan Ivey and 20-year-old Claudia Rodriguez.
Ivey is charged with capital murder for allegedly shooting and killing Rodriguez and her unborn baby more than two years ago in Lufkin.
ANDERSON COUNTY - An Anderson County grand jury indicts 32 year-old Sheldon Wall for the murder of 32 year-old Jason Perry of Frankston.
Perry was found shot to death in the front yard of a Frankston home more than two years ago.
Wall is charged with murder and deadly conduct.
