On May 15, 2010 at around 1:42 a.m., Longview Officers responded to the 300 block of Hughes Street for a report of two suspicious people looking into the windows of a parked car.
Officers arrived and were told by neighbors that they had yelled to the suspects to get away from their vehicle and the suspects ran, leaving a blue GMC pickup truck parked in the street. The truck had personal property in the bed and
officers were able to determine the items came from a house that had been burglarized at 313 Graham Drive. Officers also recovered additional stolen property, including a handgun, from the yard at 313 Graham Drive that the suspects dropped when they fled.
One of the suspects, Kourtney Herrin, was located walking in the area and apprehended. The other suspect, Spencer Dellinger, was apprehended when he got a ride from a passer-by and was spotted by officers.
Both Herrin and Dellinger were booked into the Gregg County Jail and charged with burglary of a habitation, a second degree felony.
