If you're thinking about going back to school— listen up.
Public Institutions are predicting they'll have to raise tuition significantly.
SFA has already raised their tuition fees for next semester.
But, we wanted to know "what's up with the tuition hike?"
S-f-a regents voted on Tuesday, to increase the overall cost for a full-time student to attend school by at least 150-dollars.
The reason - new building construction on the campus.
Officials say, the cost of higher education at SFA is still comparable to similar sized state schools like Sam Houston State University in Huntsville and Texas State University in San Marcos.
