This last week in politics was amazing.
After claiming George Bush was the anti-Christ, Dems are now thinking they may want to extend the Bush tax
cuts a few more years because they know it stimulates the economy.
President Obama is on the campaign trail- that's when he's not vacationing- trying to tell everyone it could be worse.
That's the theme of the Obama pep rally as he tries to remind people they should vote for Democrats in the fall.
Also last week, I shook my head when those of the far left are incensed; incensed that business owners are not letting go of their money.
They are hoarding their own money
How dare they!
They shake their first in the air about a condition to which they are contributing.
When business people think they are in a stable environment, they can get loans. They can take chances, they hire, they spend money.
When they are saddled with a health care bill no one knows anything about, faced with a financial reform package written by two of the biggest political crooks in history...they are a bit squeamish.
Worried about the tax rate going up...they hunker down.
Americans for Tax Reform write this:
•The Obama Administration and Congressional Democrats have said that they want to raise taxes in the top two income tax rates in January 2011. These rates affect families and small business owners earning at least $200,000 per year
•Unlike corporations, small businesses usually don't pay their own taxes. Rather, business profits flow through to the business owner.
•According to the IRS, most small business profits pay taxes in households making more than $200,000 per year.
And they wonder why everyone who owns a business or has a basic concept of economics is not on board.
