SAN ANTONIO --- Dez Bryant quickly becoming the star to the team, but will he start for the Cowboys his rookie season?
We all know a lot is expected of the Lufkin panther this season, but with such depth in the receiving core. Is he going to be the first one of the field come game day?

Coach Wade Phillips has pointed to a good showing so far in camp from Dez Bryant. But there are 10 wide receivers on the roster for the Cowboys. All of them are getting some time on the field here.
Bryant is wearing number 88 --- the number of another rookie who was the first to start a season opener for the cowboys at Wide Receiver as a rookie in 20 years.
Dez says he knows being given that number is an indication of what's expected of him.
"It surprised me a lot. Being that Drew Pearson and Michael Irvin that wore it, wore that number. It made me feel special," Bryant said.
