Is this a great country or what?
It's the only place in the world where all you need is a willing federal judge and you can make something illegal, legal.
Like being here illegally.
Is this too complicated?
The Clinton appointed judge rules in the nick of time-- the main reason she pulled all the teeth out of a sane law is that it would "overburden" the feds, who are not doing their job like checking for illegal immigrants.
Let me get this straight.
Arizona passed this law to crack down on illegal immigration because the feds were not enforcing their own federal law.
And goodness knows we wouldn't want to impose on the feds who aren't doing anything.
It's like junior high.
Your girlfriend is pretty, but you are sick of her.
I'll ask her out.
But then, you pitch a fit because you won't take her anywhere...but I can't?
It's just older people playing silly games.
This case will go on to the 9th circuit and to the Supreme Court.
There is a good chance that Arizona and sanity will finally win.
But as long as there are lifetime federally appointed judges who are not concerned with the will of the people, more than 60% of the American people, something can always go wrong.
