TYLER - Summertime is the prime time for weeds to cause allergies in East Texas.
In the spring, trees and grass usually cause the bright green film on cars and windows, but during the summer allergens are a bit stealthier.
We can't see the allergens making us feel lousy, which is why many people may not realize allergies are to blame for feeling sick.
Right now, the main allergens are weeds and grass, but mold is also a slight problem.
This year's dry summer is allowing those with mold allergies to breathe a little easier.
According to pollen.com, the allergens will continue to be high throughout the weekend due to the dry weather.
