JACKSONVILLE — Cherokee County Commissioners’ Court met Thursday afternoon looking at the county budget and figuring out plans for the county’s 2010-2011 fiscal year budget.
They went through a list of dozens of items and made multiple changes to the budget before adjourning, County Judge Chris Davis said.
“We’re making a lot of changes to the budget,” Davis said. “I don’t want to make a wild guess at next year’s budget at this time.”
Davis said the court may hold a second meeting on the budget Monday.
