Teenager critically injured
HENDERSON - Henderson Police are still not releasing any official information, but we did speak to some very concerned neighbors this afternoon on Clayton Street in Henderson.
Neighbors say that last night 5 teens were just having fun on the streets in the back of a pickup truck. To the neighbor's knowledge, no alcohol was involved in the incident.
They say one of the boys who was sitting on the edge of the truck bed fell backwards onto the pavement and hit his head. It's unclear whether the truck was in motion or whether it was standing still.
Neighbors say the boy's friends and some nearby neighbors performed CPR and held the boy's hand while he lost massive amounts of blood.
Neighbors say after first responders arrived, the boy was flown to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition.
We tried to get some of the neighbors to comment, but out respect for the family, they were unable to speak on camera.
