TYLER - Hundreds of pounds of marijuana was found in an 18-wheeler in Lindale on Sunday and that bust landed the driver of the semi 35 year old Marcus Tarvi Jarrett behind bars.
He's charged with a second degree felony. On Sunday morning Precinct 5 Deputy Constable Mark Waters pulls over an 18 wheeler on Interstate 20 in Lindale.
Deputy Waters says he pulled the truck over for driving on the shoulder and failing to maintain a single lane of traffic. After an extensive search, officers found a total of 309 pounds of marijuana hidden inside the truck.
The arresting officer says this was a big find for the Constables office. The driver is currently in a Smith County Jail.
