SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Facebook says unspecified site issues caused the social-networking site to be slow or unavailable for some of its 500 million users.
Facebook spokeswoman Kathleen Loughlin said just 10:00 p.m. Tuesday the company was working to resolve the problem. While the malfunction was going on the phrase "Facebook Isnt Working" was one of the top trending topics on another social-networking site, Twitter.
Facebook also experienced a technical glitch on September 23rd that blocked or slowed access for several hours. The online hangout site has called that outage the worst it's had in more than four years.
