WACO, Texas (AP) - Two Baylor football players, including one of
its top receivers, have been charged with misdemeanor marijuana
Sophomore receivers Willie Jefferson and Josh Gordon are free on
their own recognizance after their arrests.
Waco Police Sgt. Melvin Roseborough says officers were called
just after 2 a.m. Sunday to a Taco Bell near the Baylor campus.
They say they found a man passed out in the driver's seat of a car
in the drive-through lane.
Roseborough identified the driver as Jefferson, with Gordon as
Jefferson's passenger. The officers reported finding marijuana in
Baylor said coach Art Briles has aware of the situation and had
no comment. The Bears host Texas Tech on Saturday.
