Henderson County sex offender convicted without his attendance

Henderson County officials say Thomas Hernandez Salasies was convicted Thursday of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Disabled Person.

Even though he wasn't present for his sentencing, the 47-year-old Salasies was sentenced to 60 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
