It's festival season!
Kiepersol Estates outside Bullard is hosting it's 10th Annual Harvest Festival and invites the public to join this Saturday, October 16th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is a casual affair held outside at the amphitheater below Kiepersol's rolling vineyard and guests are encouraged to bring their lawn chair or blanket and just relax. Live music from Dallas' The American Classics Band, Diddley Squat and Geezer will entertain guests in the amphitheater. The real action is in the grape stomping - an Old World tradition, made popular by Lucille Ball, which is free and fun for the whole family. On the winery's veranda, overlooking the vineyard, an adults-only area will serve fresh Sangria and wine by the glass. A stroll through the vineyard on a one mile self-guided tour, a blind tasting challenge, live wine trivia and face painting and cork art for the kids rounds out this fall festival celebrating the end of grape harvest.
The Winery's tasting room is normally open for tours and tastings from 11 a.m. to sunset on Saturdays and from 4:00 p.m. to sunset during the week for "Sunset Sips".
