There is a story in the congressional newspaper The Hill Monday.
In it, Nancy Pelosi is bemoaning the fact that she thinks the Dems are behind in the polls because in her words- "we have not gotten the credit for everything we have done."
Let me repeat that again. We have not gotten the credit we deserve.
Funny thing is this mid-term election, I cant think of one Democrat who is standing up and touting the health care law, the stimulus bill and all the other pork that has been ram-rodded through in the past 2 years.
Today in "The hill", now that the election heat is on, one conservative Dem in Mississippi says he voted for McCain, not Obama, to distance himself from the president. And the governor of one state doesn't want the president campaigning for him. In fact, he told media when it comes to being endorsed by the president, the president can-his words-shove it.
And now there is breaking news Monday, the AP finally figured out that the health care law may actually mean that businesses will cut employee insurance because they cannot pay for it, or the cost will go up a lot.
All this fun and Ms. Pelosi says she and the rest of the Dems are not getting the credit they deserve. Hold on nancy. Perhaps election night you'll get all the credit you've been asking for. And you'll give the keys back to that monstrosity of a military plane you've been ferrying your relatives on for the past 2 years.
