AS REPORTED IN THE NACOGDOCHES DAILY SENTINEL:
The public will have an opportunity Tuesday to voice any concerns related to Nacogdoches County commissioners considering designation of a reinvestment zone and granting a tax abatement for Select Energy Services LLC in Chireno.
An 8:30 a.m. public hearing in the Nacogdoches County Courthouse, 101 W. Main Street, Suite 101, on the proposed reinvestment zone will be followed by an 8:45 a.m. public hearing on the tax abatement.
Commissioners will vote on the issues during the regular meeting beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
A presentation from a representative of TransCanada Pipeline concerning the Keystone XL Pipeline project and updating commissioners on the pipeline's status will also take place Tuesday, Nacogdoches County Judge Joe English said.
