Nacogdoches woman cut in aggravated robbery

NACOGDOCHES - Nacogdoches Police are investigating a robbery in the 3200 block of North Pecan. It happened around midday Thursday. Officers say a woman was walking down the street when a man came behind her and tore her purse off her shoulder. The woman tried to struggle with the man, and in the process she was cut on the forearm with a sharp object.

Police say the man then ran from the area. The woman wasn't seriously hurt, and the investigation is continuing.
