Whitehouse alcohol election: one option passes, the other fails

WHITEHOUSE-- One heated topic on the election ballot this year was whether or not keep the city of Whitehouse dry. 

Two options were on the ballot.  Proposition one to sell mixed beverages in restaurants passed with 53% votes for it, and 46% votes against it.  Proposition two for the legal sale of beer and wine for off-premise consumption failed with 45% votes for it and 54% of votes against it.
