The National Institute of Health is reminding parents of infants about the dangers of SIDS during the wintertime months.
Parents and caregivers can help prevent Sudden Infant Death Syndrome by avoiding overheating babies during naptime and overnight.
Studies have shown, heavy clothing, blankets and a warm room temperature increase the risk of SIDS.
The N.I.H. suggests babies sleep in light clothing in a room that's at a comfortable temperature for adults.
