From Lufkin Police:
LUFKIN - A cigarette craving leads to an assault Sunday in Lukfin. Police say a woman came into a business at the 100 block of North Timberland Drive, looking to buy cigarettes. After two clerks explained to the woman that they couldn't sell her cigarettes unless she showed them her identification, a manager intervened. He reiterated that they couldn't make the sale without an ID to verify her age. That's when police say the woman stormed toward the manager and splashed him with tea from a bottle she was holding.
Police advised the manager to contact the Lufkin City Attorney's office to file a complaint.
