A mall shoplifter was detained by a citizen this afternoon in Tyler.
Tyler Police reporting that a black juvenile male stole merchandise from a store in the Broadway Square Mall.. he then ran across the street to the Chase Bank parking lot, where a citizen got involved trying to detain the youth.
The two wrestled until police arrived.
