Relatives found signs of struggle
Houston---A 24-year-old Houston woman was charged on Monday with murder in the death of her 85-year-old great aunt.
Alexis Jones is being held without bond in the death of Mildred Johnson.
Relatives found Johnson's body about 8:30 p.m. Saturday at her home in the 5400 block of Candlemist. Authorities said they found signs of a struggle and that items were missing from the north-central Houston house. The elderly woman was reportedly found with a tourniquet wrapped around her neck.
Jones was seen driving by the house in Johnson's car around 2 a.m., authorities said.
