Officers arrived and found that 29-year-old Tracey Turk of Kilgore had been struck by a car while crossing South Green Street on foot. Longview Fire/EMS transported Turk to Good Shepherd Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. She was later pronounced dead by Gregg County Justice of the Peace Arthur Fort.
Investigators discovered that Turk had been crossing the street walking eastbound when she was struck by the vehicle.
