Round Rock schools evacuated Tuesday
Round Rock---The Associated Press is reporting; state and federal authorities are investigating a bomb threat at an Austin-area middle school a day after the threat was first made.
Williamson County sheriff's Sgt. John Foster said the middle school and a nearby elementary school were evacuated about noon Tuesday because of elevated concern over a call that came in Monday evening.
Foster said no explosives had been found on campus.
He said investigators called in the FBI, the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Texas Department of Public Safety.
More than 1,500 students are enrolled in the two schools.
