BULLARD— The city of Bullard will be celebrating Texas Wine Month with the Kiepersol Estates Harvest Festival & Grape Stomp.
The celebration is free and will be on Saturday, October 10th, at Kierpersol Estates from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The event is for the entire family and will include many activities such as: unique wine festival games, interactive vintage harvest "tintype" photographs, karaoke, and self-guided walking tours. Plenty of food and wine will be up for tasting too.
The festival will be headlined by the grape stomp, which participants can "make wine" and bring home their own commemorative t-shirt.
Participants can bring their cameras and submit photos of the event for competition and a chance to win a $250 gift certificate.
Officials advise bringing a lawn chair and say no food or drink may be brought in.
Those participating must be 21 to purchase or consume alcohol.
Maps will be available for the self-guided tour.
The Estates is located at 3933 F.M. 344 East.
