NACOGDOCHES - Our news partners at the Nacogdoches Daily Sentinel bring us this story:
Greg Sowell has been growing pine trees on his property for the last four years in an effort to get them big enough for families who want to chop down their own tree for Christmas.
Sowell says he thinks the service teaches good stewardship of the land and for every tree a family cuts down, he plants another one.
Although according to Sowell growing trees is hard work, he said he's rewarded when he sees families making his Christmas tree farm part of their family traditions.
