Bryant's season is over
IRVING, Texas (AP) - Cowboys rookie receiver Dez Bryant has had
surgery on his fractured right ankle and is done for the season.
Coach Jason Garrett said doctors repaired the broken bones and
ligament damage suffered during the return of a kickoff in the
fourth quarter of a victory in Indianapolis on Sunday.

For the remaining four games, special teams captain Sam Hurd and
seldom-used Kevin Ogletree will take Bryant's place in the offense.
Bryant finished his first season with 45 catches for 561 yards
and six touchdowns. He scored two more on punt returns.
