A 52-year-old Wisconsin postal carrier is in trouble with police and his employer after he delivered the mail in the nude.
The man told police that he'd made a delivery to a woman working in an office in the town of Whitefish Bay.
He says she seemed stressed out, so he told her that he would come back naked when he brought mail from a post office box.
The man claims that the woman dared him to do it, and he did.
According to a police report, he told officers that he took his clothes off in a hall outside her office and then knocked on the door.
The woman told officers that when she saw him naked she was shocked.
She put up her hand and told him to leave.
The man immediately apologized and quickly left the office.
The woman didn't initially report the incident, but decided to call police after the man came back to apologize a second time.
The Postal Service says it is investigating the incident.
"All employees are entitled to a full and fair investigation to determine the appropriate course of action," postal service spokeswoman Marge Oehlke said. "Unethical behavior is not representative of the 1,300 employees in the Milwaukee area," Oehlke continued.
Police arrested the worker and cited him for lewd and lascivious behavior.
