Longview city officials are encouraging all East Texans to do more with your Christmas tree. One way to give your holiday tree a new purpose is to recycle it for compost or fish habitats.
Residents can drop off their Christmas tree at different locations. They are:
1. McWorter Park at 1000 Toler Road,
2. Stamper Park at 400 Fair Street and
3. Compost Site at 280 Hearne Road.
You can drop them off December 27th through January 14th.
