DALLAS - According to the Dallas Morning News--
A Texas pastor was caught in the act of stealing valuable items from a parishioner's home. Police say the woman claimed that she was protecting the laptop and fur coats, not stealing them.
Co-founder of the Church of the Living God Sandy McGriff testified that she used poor judgment when she entered a church member's home through a broken window and removed the items.
McGriff faces charges of burglary of habitation and resisting arrest. She posted a $26,000 bond and was released.
McGriff claims she saw two men outside the home and decided to check it out. That's when she allegedly found the broken window.
When a neighbor called police, they found McGriff carrying two fur coats out of the home.
