ATHENS - In Henderson County, a man arrested for possession of marijuana now faces a felony charge for swallowing some of the weed. That's according to judicial records.
During a traffic stop, 49-year-old Calvin Roy Helton was found in possession of what appeared to be marijuana.
Reports say when Helton was taken in for booking, he pulled more marijuana from his boot and swallowed it. He was checked out at a local hospital before being taken back to jail.
