A GOP Presidential hopeful is planning on making stops in East Texas this month.
John Davis will stop in Smith and Cherokee counties this month as part of his goal to visit every county in the United States.
Davis is scheduled to speak at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday in Tyler at the Smith County Republican headquarters. He also will speak at 12:30 p.m. January 21st at the Norman Library at Jacksonville College. Davis plans to speak about his plan for the country and "how to fix America."
One of his main goals is to visit 3,200 counties during his campaign. Davis is a of Colorado, has six children and four grandchildren. He has been almost entirely self-employed since he graduated high school.
