TYLER - After days like yesterday, if cars manage to escape an accident without being totalled, they usually need suspension work from running off into ditches.
If not that, vehicles may need paint or tire repair from fender benders, or sliding through intersections and parking lots.
You might be wondering how body shops can function on a day like today in the aftermath of a major snow event like Sunday.
But this morning, we spoke with Darren Davis, the owner of Davis Green Paint and Body Shop in Tyler.
He says so far, it looks like East Texans drove pretty smart this weekend.
"Well, the good thing is, they talked about this for about a week, so the weather guys did a good job and it was on a Sunday, so that's a light traffic day anyway. I think people were ready for it and so it kept a lot of folks off the road," Davis said.
Davis says this morning, they had a few tow-ins most likely due to this weekends weather.
He says the overall impact of the weather on the body shop will be a "wait and see" throughout the day kind of thing.
Here are some of the wreck stories we covered this weekend.
