TYLER - Elasko Thomas has received a life sentence for aggravated kidnapping and sexual abuse.
TYLER - Wednesday, Elasko Thomas, 37, was found guilty of aggravated kidnapping of his ex-girlfriend back in June 2010. Tuesday, Thomas pleaded not guilty, but did not testify on his own behalf. His victim, however did. She told the courtroom, after she tried to break up with Thomas, he assaulted her with a firearm, kidnapped her, and then took her to his grandmother's property where he raped her twice. Thursday, in Judge Jack Skeen's court, a jury will decide his fate. Thomas is facing 5 to 99 years behind bars in prison.
