It continues to be a heavily debated issue: abortion.
This week marked the 38th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the case legalizing abortion in the United States.
Statistics show, 35% of all women will have had an abortion by age 45. More than 90% have them, because they say the pregnancy would have been an inconvenience.
Globally, 42 million abortions happen every year. Russia is the country with the highest rate, New York is the state in the U.S. with the highest rate.
In the U.S. 50 million abortions have been performed since Roe v. Wade.
Do you think abortion is a person choice, or a legal issue?
