Another battle about Obamacare is brewing.
In the midst of the administration allowing more unions to opt out of the ill-conceived plan, a Florida federal judge threw a wrench in the health care law Monday by declaring it unconstitutional.
It makes about as much sense as the 5 Republicans in South Dakota who hilariously filed a bill that said if the government can make you buy insurance, the government can make you buy a gun to defend yourself.
U.S. Senate leaders are already working on a way to get a vote in the Senate to repeal the law. With the tide turned, let's see who's for it now. Also, let's see where the money to run Obamacare will come from
if the feds can't get it funded.
With the actions of the federal court Monday, this sets up a showdown. The law could go before an appellate court and then the Supreme Court. If the current judges in the highest court in the land still vote like they
normally do, Obamacae will be thrown out.
This would be a great thing.
Do we need to re-do health care in our nation? You bet. But, the government has no business being this deep in it.
I don't want the federal government telling me what I can or can not buy.
