The average American spends nearly $50 per week on food. In a family of four, the grocery bill can grow pretty quickly, but some are finding one way to reduce that bill.
On February 19, the Tyler library will be hosting a coupon workshop to teach East Texans how to maximize their coupon clipping abilities.
KETK caught up with Pamela and Samuel Petersen who were doing some grocery shopping at Big Lots.
The Petersens are excited about the coupon workshop, "We would definitely be interested in something like that."
On average, American families spend almost $9,500 per year on groceries. That's 13.3% of their total household budget.
