Both hoping to stop flow of raw sewage toward Sam Rayburn
Lufkin — The Lufkin Daily News is reporting; an old water treatment plant in Redland Estates is the door by which raw sewage flows into Paper Mill Creek and into Sam Rayburn Resevoir.
Two local attorneys: John Stover and Tim Karczewski, have filed a petition with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality in hopes of finally ending this river of sewage into Rayburn.
TCEQ's board meets today in Austin.
Commissioners are expected to consider the attorney's petition.
