The following is an after-action report from our most recent multi-agency No Refusal DWI campaign, December 31st, 2009 through January 3rd, 2010:
Total DWI arrests for the No Refusal initiative for all agencies were 15.
-DPS had 6 DWI arrests during the No-Refusal campaign.
(One DWI is pending arrest by warrant due to hospitalization of suspect in crash)
-Tyler PD had 4 DWI arrests during the No-Refusal campaign.
-Smith County Sheriff’s Office had 1 DWI arrest during the No-Refusal campaign.
-Bullard PD had 2 DWI arrests during the No-Refusal campaign.
-Troup PD had 1 DWI arrest during the No-Refusal campaign.
-Arp PD had 1 DWI arrest during the No-Refusal campaign.
Total evidentiary search warrants for blood issued were 3.
-Tyler PD obtained 1 evidentiary search warrant for blood.
-Smith County Sheriff’s Office obtained 1 evidentiary search warrant for blood.
-Bullard PD obtained 1 evidentiary search warrant for blood.
This is a grand total of 15 DWI arrests booked into SC Jail (with one pending) and 3 evidentiary search warrants issued.
