On Sunday, 01-10-2010, at 5:12a.m. the Kilgore Police Department responded to the 900 block of Burns St., Kilgore, Texas in regards to a person being stabbed.
Upon arrival, Police met with Christopher Daniel Hess, 28 years of age, of Kilgore. Hess reported he had been stabbed multiple times by Loys "Trey" Willis Jackson III, 19 years of age, also of Kilgore with an unknown type of sharp instrument.
Hess told police Jackson broke into his residence of 405 Gulf Hercules, Kilgore, Texas and committed the assault. Hess fled from his residence and contacted a neighbor who in turn notified police.
Due to his wounds, Hess was transported by Champion EMS to Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview, Texas where, as of today, he is listed in stable condition after undergoing emergency surgery.
Jackson fled the scene before arrival of police. After initial investigation, a warrant of arrest for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, a felony offense, was obtained for Loys Jackson. Jackson is currently being sought by the Kilgore Police Department.
