The Dallas Cowboys have selected Oklahoma running back DeMarco Murray with the 71st overall pick of the NFL draft.
The third-round selection had two 1,000-yard rushing seasons at Oklahoma and finished with 3,685 yards and 50 touchdowns.
The speedy runner also had 157 career catches for 1,571 yards and 11 TDs.
Earlier Friday, the Cowboys took North Carolina linebacker Bruce Carter with the 40th overall pick in the second round.
Their first-round pick Thursday was offensive tackle Tyron Smith from Southern Cal with the ninth overall selection.
The Dallas Cowboys have made Wisconsin center Bill Nagy their final pick in the NFL draft.
Nagy was selected 252nd overall, a compensatory pick in theseventh round for the Cowboys.
There were only two more players picked after that before the end of the three-day draft.
The Cowboys had eight total picks, using six on offensive players and two for defensive players.
With its other seventh-round pick, Dallas picked Georgia fullback Shaun Chapas 220th overall.
Earlier Saturday, Dallas picked Missouri State offensive lineman David Arkin in the fourth round, Buffalo cornerback Josh Thomas in the fifth round, and East Carolina receiver Dwayne Harris in the sixth round.
