Longview, TX — Gregg County jailers found crack cocaine tucked into a Longview man's underwear Tuesday morning as he was being booked into the jail.
24-year-old Quintus Dewayne Shaw was arrested after midnight Tuesday near the intersection of Nelson and Green streets after a routine traffic stop for having a headlight out.
During the traffic stop, officers found that Shaw had an outstanding warrant from Harrison County for possession of a controlled substance.
According to arrest reports, jailers found three crack cocaine rocks, weighing about 1.8 grams, in a small plastic bag inside Shaw's underwear.
Shaw remained jailed Tuesday afternoon on bonds totaling $30,000. He is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
